The initial consultation and the first draft are free of charge, and you will usually receive the draft within one to four weeks. I only issue my invoice when your website goes live: if you do not like the draft, you pay nothing.

How I can help you with your website
Is your current website not meeting your expectations?
Your website should make your offer easy to understand, build trust and make it easy for prospective clients to take the next step. For that to work, content, structure, design and technology need to fit together well.
I support you from the first idea through to publication – personally, transparently and in a way that suits your business.
Your website from a single source
Whether you would like a new website created, want to modernise your existing website or need a landing page for a specific offer: I take care of planning and implementation and keep the technical effort manageable for you.
I take care of the areas that matter for your website:
- Concept and site structure: you receive a clear foundation for who your website should reach, which content matters and how visitors can quickly find what matters most.
- Web design: your website receives a design that suits your business, works well on smartphones, tablets and computers, and presents your content clearly.
- Technical implementation: I build your website carefully, prepare it sensibly for future maintenance and ensure it has a technically reliable foundation.
- Essential SEO: I create the technical and content foundations that help search engines and AI systems understand your offer better.
- Publishing and support: I support the launch of your website and remain your point of contact afterwards for changes, new content and technical questions.
A few examples: what my websites look like
I work for freelancers, consultancies and small businesses in a range of sectors – from bilingual corporate communications to accessible travel websites. These four projects show the range of my work.
Claus CommuniCations
Corporate communications · bilingual in German and English
Claus CommuniCations provides operational support to companies with internal and external communications as well as crisis, event and change management. The challenge was to create a website that explains consultation-intensive services clearly and can be maintained in two languages.
Delivered: bilingual site structure, clear presentation of services, responsive design.
Emertec
IT solutions for market research
Emertec develops software solutions that make CATI and CAPI surveys more efficient and cost-effective for market research and data-collection companies. Here, technology that requires explanation had to be presented for a specialist audience without being off-putting.
Delivered: structured product presentation, clearly organised technical content, English-language version.
Neil Stewart
Video editing and post-production
Since 1995, Neil Stewart has worked in broadcast and corporate editing with Premiere Pro and Avid – from documentaries and entertainment to children's and sports programmes. For someone working visually, the website itself had to become a work sample.
Delivered: visually led portfolio, video integration, pared-back layout.
Schottland für alle – worldwide accessible travel
Accessible travel · Scotland · German language site
"Our goal is for you to enjoy your holiday, whether you use a wheelchair or walk, whether you are partially sighted, blind or sighted." This principle needed to be reflected in the website itself – not just in its content.
Delivered: accessible structure, good readability and contrast, clear navigation through a comprehensive offer.
Is your project not included? That is no problem – I will familiarise myself with your sector.

Your new website in three steps
From the first conversation to publication, there are three steps.
You always know what I am working on and what comes next.
Step 1: The conversation and the goal
In a free initial consultation, we clarify what your website should achieve, who it needs to address and which content is required. This usually takes 30 to 60 minutes.
Whether you need a new website, an older website does not work well with modern devices, or you simply want to launch a landing page for a new product: in the first step, we define the goal of the website.
Perhaps you only have an idea so far, or perhaps you already have sketches, photographs, images and copy. Together, we set a broad framework for what the website I create for you should include. I will also give you a few requirements to work with. If you provide photographs and images, for example, they should meet a particular format. Copy can be drafts, but it should already have a certain length. For products, I like to work with descriptions and details.
I also advise you on general website-related matters. This includes questions about display on mobile devices, the technologies used, dependencies on other providers, the use of cookies, and storing the website and making it available on the internet.
Step 2: The draft and the changes
Within one to four weeks, you receive a free first draft – as a real website, not a sketch. On this basis, we refine the colours, copy, typefaces and structure together.
This is where it becomes exciting for you. Based on our conversation and the information you provide, I create an initial draft. This is usually the home page and one further subpage, already presented as a website. Here, you can experience the combination of colours, copy and images and see the structure of the website. If you like the draft as a whole, work on your web presence continues.
With this draft in front of us, it is much easier to discuss and decide than with a sketch alone. We now determine how the content will be presented and make changes to the type, colours and backgrounds.
Step by step, I develop the remaining pages and provide you with a link that lets you follow the current state of the website at any time. This allows me to incorporate changes quickly.
This is also where the invisible changes happen: essential optimisations for search engines such as Google, the information required when a link to your website is shared on social media, and many further additions.
Step 3: Your website goes live
After your approval, I publish the website and remain available for short-term corrections. I only issue my invoice when it is published.
After all changes and corrections have been made and all functions have been tested, you approve the website. Now comes the big moment: your website goes live. I am on hand to quickly correct any final issues that were not identified earlier and are reported by you or by website visitors.
The initial website creation is now complete, and you and your visitors are happy.
I remain your point of contact after publication, too. I handle small changes to images and copy quickly and affordably, so you do not have to deal with technical details. I am your service provider with more than 25 years of experience.
You can do it all yourself
Or sit back and relax
To be honest: if you only need a single page with contact details and enjoy working with technology, a website builder is enough.
But as soon as your website needs to win customers, explain several offers or be found in search engines, professional implementation saves you time and avoids unnecessary detours.
Depending on the scope, my fixed price is between €750 and €5,000 as the final price – over the years, a website builder often costs no less, but it does require considerably more of your own time. Invoices are issued in euros.
Leave it to me! Just give me a call.
Are you still using RapidWeaver Classic?
Move to RapidWeaver Elements now. I take care of the hard work for you.
For many years, RapidWeaver Classic was a reliable home for web projects. RapidWeaver Elements begins a new chapter: faster loading times, modern layout technology and a simpler workflow. Your browser does not support the video tag.
What the video shows: a RapidWeaver Classic project and the same page rebuilt in RapidWeaver Elements. The Classic layout gives way to the Elements version – same content, same look, new technology underneath.
For many users, the move initially feels overwhelming. Layouts shift, plugins are no longer compatible, and technical terms such as Stacks or CSS adjustments suddenly sound confusing.
This is exactly where my service begins: I transfer your Classic project completely to RapidWeaver Elements – professionally, transparently and clearly. You keep your content and receive a website built to current technical standards.
